This device comes with a P-OLED 16M color display made by Samsung. It has a 5.5" display with 1080 x 2160 pixels encased in a Gorilla Glass 5 front panel. While the Pixel 2 has the 5" AMOLED 16M colors with a 1080 x 1920 pixels and covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
It comes with a 12.2 MP, f/1.8 rear camera capable of recording up to 4K video @ 30 fps. It has two front facing cameras (8MP f/1.8, 8MP f/2.2) and can record HD videos. It also has Google Lens right out of the box. Picture quality is the best in its class.
For the onboard drive, it comes in with 64/128GB with no support for expansion. The Pixel 2 also has the same specs.
It has two front facing stereo speakers. Audio quality is superb and very loud considering that both are front firing which is rare in the market.
It still has the super fast rear-mounted fingerprint reader. However, facial recognition is still not available on this device.
Equipped with a Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845. It has Octa-core clocked at 4x2.5 GHz Kryo 385 Gold & 4x1.6 GHz Kryo 385 Silver. Performance is snappy with very minimal lag times. While the Pixel 2 has the Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 with eight cores also.
Powering the device is a 2915 mAh battery. It can hold conversations for up to 23 hours, web browsing for up to 10:16 hours and 11 hours video playback. It supports wireless charging and fast charge.
This device has an IP68 rating making it dustproof and water resistant for depths of up to 1 meter for 30 mins.
