AT&T's mid-tier postpaid unlimited at $70/mo: 100 GB at full speed before congestion slowing, 50 GB hotspot, and Canada/Mexico coverage - without the no-deprioritization guarantee of the higher tiers.
Prices may vary by region, promotions, and account history. Check AT&T's website for current offers.
Unlike the Premium 2.0 and Elite 2.0 above it, this tier doesn't carry the no-deprioritization-based-on-usage claim - instead, it works with a 100 GB high-speed data threshold: after 100 GB, AT&T may temporarily slow speeds if the network is busy. That distinction matters in practice: congestion-based slowing can happen at any usage level on lower tiers, but the Extra 2.0's 100 GB cushion means the typical phone line - using 10-20 GB per month - is unlikely to hit the threshold. The plan also includes 50 GB of mobile hotspot at full speed, then 128 kbps after.
Canada and Mexico coverage is included. AT&T ActiveArmor is bundled, and 1080p HD video streaming is available.
