A percentage of every monthly bill gets donated to progressive nonprofits - environmental organizations, civil liberties groups, voting rights advocates. That's the first-order reason someone chooses CREDO over a plain-vanilla MVNO. The service itself runs on Verizon's network, which is strong coverage nationwide.

Nine gigabytes of high-speed data at $55/month is where the pricing gets complicated. That's more than AT&T MVNO competitors charge for the same or more data - Pure TalkUSA's 10 GB plan is $30. The premium is the mission.

Multi-line discounts exist but aren't quantified. Canada and Mexico calling is included. No hotspot is listed for this plan.
