They both also include Data Maximizer, a feature that will help you optimize your data usage and make it last longer, which is especially useful on plans that don't have unlimited cellular data. Scam ID, a feature that screens telemarketers and other potential spammers, is automatically set up on your phone once you sign up for this plan.

If you sign up for the 5 GB plan, you'll be able to enjoy unlimited music streaming thanks to Music Unlimited. This feature lets you stream music from top sites like Pandora, iHeartRadio, and Spotify without counting against your monthly cellular data allotment. You're also eligible for the multi-line discount if your family signs up for the 5 GB plan!

The Metro by T-Mobile 5 GB 5G plan includes unlimited minutes and messages as well as 2 GB or 5 GB of cellular data.

The speed of cellular data on this plan is 4G LTE and videos will stream at 480p (DVD-quality) or better.

You can use your monthly cellular data allotment for mobile hotspot. When you use up all of your cellular data, speeds will be throttled to 3G.
