Plan Speed
Full 5G and LTE speeds on Verizon's network through 30 GB. After 30 GB, deprioritization applies during congestion: when towers are busy, Spectrum Mobile customers may see reduced speeds compared to Verizon postpaid subscribers. Off-peak and in low-congestion areas, speeds remain full after 30 GB. No specific throttle speed is published for the post-deprioritization state.
Contract Details
No contract, no early termination fee, no activation fee. Month-to-month. Requires active Spectrum Internet service: if the home internet subscription ends, Spectrum Mobile eligibility ends with it. Port the number out freely at any time.
Overage Charges
No hard data cutoff and no overage charges. Deprioritization after 30 GB is a speed management policy, not a billing event. The bill doesn't change regardless of data use. Only the hotspot has a GB ceiling before throttling.
Mobile Hotspot
5 GB of mobile hotspot is included. That covers light tethering use: a few hours of video calls, basic laptop browsing, or modest file transfers. For anything heavier, the Spectrum Mobile Unlimited Plus at $40 includes 10 GB of hotspot. The post-5 GB hotspot speed is not disclosed.
