Unlimited calls and texts domestically. Calls to Canada and Mexico included at up to 2,000 minutes per line per month. International texts included from the US and abroad. Data is unlimited with a 50 GB deprioritization threshold: after 50 GB, Spectrum Mobile deprioritizes during congestion on busy towers. 10 GB hotspot at full speed. No international data beyond what the voice roaming covers.

Plan Speed

Full 5G and LTE speeds through 50 GB. After 50 GB, deprioritization during congestion applies: on busy towers, Spectrum Mobile customers may see slower speeds than Verizon postpaid subscribers. During off-peak or uncongested times, full speeds continue. No specific post-deprioritization throttle speed is published. Hotspot runs at full speed through 10 GB.

Contract Details

No contract, no early termination fee, no activation fee. Month-to-month. Requires active Spectrum Internet service. Port the number out at any time. Losing the Spectrum Internet subscription terminates Spectrum Mobile eligibility.

Overage Charges

No hard data cutoff and no overage charges. Deprioritization after 50 GB is a speed management policy, not a billing event. The bill stays at $40 regardless of data use. Only the hotspot has a hard GB ceiling before throttling applies.

Mobile Hotspot

10 GB of mobile hotspot is included. That's enough for a moderate tethering use case: several hours of video calls per week, regular email and browsing from a laptop, or occasional large file transfers. Not enough for a full remote workday with video-heavy meetings every day. Post-10 GB hotspot speed is not disclosed.
