Data, Minutes & Messages

Unlimited talk and text. Data is unlimited with 50 GB of priority access before any congestion-based management. After 50 GB, on a busy tower, speeds may be slower than higher-tier T-Mobile customers. Video is capped at 480p on all data usage -- not only after the threshold. T-Mobile does not charge overages.

Plan Speed

Full T-Mobile 5G/LTE speeds for the first 50 GB per billing cycle. After 50 GB during congestion, speeds may be managed. Video streaming is capped at 480p at all times on this plan -- 480p looks acceptable on a phone screen in favorable conditions but is noticeably softer than 720p or 1080p. Hotspot tethering is capped at 600 kbps, which is slower than a typical LTE connection and handles basic tasks only.

Contract Details

No annual contract. Month-to-month billing. Autopay required for the $60 rate; without autopay the plan is $65 per line. Available on 1 to 6 lines with per-line pricing decreasing as lines increase.

Overage Charges

No overages. All data continues at network-managed speeds after the 50 GB priority threshold. No additional charges for any usage level.

Mobile Hotspot

Hotspot tethering is included and limited to 600 kbps. At that speed: basic email and web pages load slowly, simple map navigation works, messaging apps function. Video calls will fail or stutter. HD or SD video streaming won't buffer cleanly. This speed cap is built into the plan at all times, not just after a data threshold.
