Data, Minutes & Messages

Talk and text are unlimited. Data is 15 GB at full 5G/LTE speeds. After 15 GB, speeds drop to 128 kbps -- which is text-message-and-basic-email territory. Web pages won't load cleanly, maps will struggle, and streaming anything is basically off the table. The 15 GB allotment covers moderate daily browsing and social media for most people, but one afternoon of streaming video will eat several gigabytes quickly.

Plan Speed

Full T-Mobile 5G and LTE speeds for the first 15 GB. After the high-speed data cap, speeds fall to 128 kbps -- which is slower than most people's home internet by a factor of 500 or more. At 128 kbps, text messages work, basic email works, and maps will eventually load. Video won't buffer, and modern apps will mostly fail to function normally.

Contract Details

No annual contract. No credit check required. Month-to-month billing. An in-store activation or change fee of $10 per line applies if done in person; online or self-service activation avoids that fee.

Overage Charges

There are no overage charges. Once the 15 GB high-speed allowance is used, data continues at 128 kbps for the rest of the billing cycle. There is no way to add more high-speed data mid-cycle on this plan.
