The Unlimited Plus sits in the awkward middle of Verizon's postpaid lineup - $10 less than the Unlimited Ultimate but without the 200 GB premium data threshold or international roaming.
At $80/mo with autopay (before taxes and the $35 activation fee), it gets you full 5G Ultra Wideband access, 30 GB of mobile hotspot at full speeds, and Verizon's network without a contract. What it doesn't have is a defined premium data threshold like the Ultimate's 200 GB - the plan notes data 'may be temporarily slower than other traffic' during congestion, which is standard network management language with no stated trigger. The 30 GB hotspot runs at full speed, then slows to 3 Mbps on 5G Ultra Wideband or 600 kbps on standard 5G and 4G LTE after that.
