The Apple iPhone 15 is available from Verizon at $384.99 outright in May 2026. The 15 is where Apple's non-Pro iPhone line made its most meaningful hardware jump in years: the 48 MP main camera moved down from the Pro tier, the Lightning port was replaced by USB-C, peak brightness jumped from 1200 nits to 2000 nits, and the Dynamic Island replaced the notch on the standard model for the first time. The A16 Bionic chip - which powered the iPhone 14 Pro - runs the iPhone 15 standard. The 6.1-inch OLED at 2556 x 1179 and 460 PPI delivers an excellent screen. Water resistance is IP68. Battery at 3349 mAh is an incremental step up. The iPhone 15 is available at nine carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, with eSIM-only on this model.
