The Galaxy S25 is Samsung's compact 2025 flagship — same year as the S25 Ultra but smaller, lighter, and the easiest S-series phone to use one-handed. The 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED still hits 2,600 nits in direct sun and runs 120 Hz. Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy is a real generational jump over the S24's chip — Qualcomm's 3 nm part runs faster and cooler under load. The triple rear camera (50 MP main, 12 MP ultrawide, 10 MP 3x telephoto) is unchanged from the S24 in hardware terms, but the new chip's image signal processor cleans up low light better and Galaxy AI handles on-device translation, photo cleanup, and Circle to Search. At Verizon's $630 outright in 2026, this lands as the most affordable Samsung flagship currently in stock — one generation behind the S26 on the chip side, several hundred dollars below the S26 Ultra, and software-supported through 2032.
