Make Sure Your Wireless Charger Is Plugged In

1 min read

For a wireless charger to work properly, you need to plug it into a power source. If you have a wall charger, try plugging it in to an outlet or power strip. If you have a USB charger, try connecting it to your computer!

  1. Remove your iPhone from your wireless charging platform.
  2. Check the place where the wireless charger connects to the power cable. Make sure that both of these components have a solid connection.
  3. Check the outlet your wireless charger is plugged into. Make sure the power cable and power source are securely connected.

Why this works:

The term “wireless charging” itself is kind of a misnomer. After all, you still need to connect the wireless charger to power. What makes them wireless is that you never have to plug anything into the iPhone’s Lightning port.

Pro tip:

  • If you notice any fraying or damage on your power cable, it’s possible that your charger is broken and needs to be replaced.
