If you're trying to use your Google Pixel, but it keeps restarting, don't panic! This can be extremely frustrating, especially if you're struggling to figure out why this is happening. Look no further, because in this article, I'll explain why your Google Pixel keeps restarting and how to fix it.
Forcing your device to restart can clear up any malfunctions you may be experiencing. Doing this will probably fix the problem, but if you're dealing with a deeper software bug, a restart won't address it.
To force your Google Pixel to restart, or hard reset your Google Pixel, follow these steps:

You can check which Android version you have in the Settings app. Under Settings, navigate through the following tabs: System -> Advanced -> System Update. Here, you'll be able to see your current Android version and check for any available software updates. Once you determine whether or not there's an update, follow the steps on your screen to download it. Similar to the reset, this can eliminate any minor software bugs causing your Pixel to not work.
Ideally, you backup your device frequently. Just to be safe, let's back it up again now to ensure all of your data is saved. To make this process easier, all of your data can be saved to your Google account.
