Here We Are Again, Going Through Articles to Help Us […]
Here we are again, going through articles to help us understand and learn more, especially about our smartphones. The Google Pixel is no exception. I hope this article is helpful in teaching you about what hold for me on your Google Pixel is and why it's important.
Hold for me on Google Pixel is a feature that monitors your calls, if you're put on hold by a toll-free number. This frees you up to do what you need to while you wait. Another cool thing about this feature is that whenever a person gets on the line, it will notify you with a vibration, sound, and notification on the screen.
There are only 2 phones that have this feature. However, it is only a preview feature available for Google's Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A (5G) phones. It's only available in the US as well. This could be a temporary thing, and we'll probably see this feature rolled out to other phones soon.
This feature is optional and can be enabled in Google settings. You can turn it on by going to Settings –> Apps & Notifications. Then, click on Assistant -> See all Assistant Settings. Once you see Hold For Me, turn on the switch and you're good to go.
Now, you feel a little bit better about knowing one more feature on your device. It's a good time to start reading and learning something new each day. Hopefully, this article was a great help to you and those you share it with! Thanks for reading.
