Best Apple Music Cell Phone Plans In 2024

Apple Music is one of the most popular music streaming services in the world. According to Statista, Apple Music has more than 68 million subscribers. If you love music, you'll be happy to hear that many mobile data carriers offer streaming service bundles with their plans. In this article, you'll learn about the best Apple Music cell phone plans.

Listen To Your Favorite Songs With Apple Music

Apple Music was launched in 2015 as a competitor to streaming services like Spotify and Pandora. It's one of the best streaming services available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users, integrating well with Apple's user-friendly ecosystem.

Apple Music also has some killer exclusives, like Taylor Swift's 1989 and Drake's 2016 album Views From the 6. With such a unique selection, you're definitely getting your money's worth when you get Apple Music with your cell phone plan.

Buying Bundles

Some unlimited data plans provided by cell phone carriers include streaming services like Apple Music. Although the cost of the plan might seem expensive, if you factor in the bundled services, you'll find that you're getting your money's worth.

Before you get an unlimited plan, it's a good idea to research whether or not it's the right fit for you. If you don't use a lot of data each month, you may be better off with a cheaper prepaid plan and buying an Apple Music subscription separately.

You can read our article about whether you need an unlimited plan to learn more, or you can watch our video on the topic below:

Verizon Unlimited Plans

Verizon Get More Unlimited

Verizon's Get More Unlimited is one of the few plans out there that includes Apple Music. Not only does it come with an Apple Music subscription, but you'll also get access to Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu. That's a crazy amount of value for an unlimited plan, when compared to the competition.

This is also the best plan available for watching and listening while on the go. If you want to watch Marvel, Disney, or Star Wars movies on Disney+ or listen to the best albums on Apple Music, look no further than Verizon's Get More Unlimited plan.

Verizon Do More Unlimited

Verizon's Do More Unlimited plan features many unique perks at a slightly more affordable price than its premium alternative. Apart from its free six-month subscriptions to Apple Music and Disney+, Do More Unlimited has a number of other major benefits like 600 GB of cloud storage and access to 5G cellular networks.

Do More Unlimited customers can text internationally to more than 200 countries, and access a small allotment of high speed data in Mexico and Canada. While this plan's monthly amount of data and mobile hotspot is notably lower than Get More Unlimited's, it's still a great value with an abundance of versatile cellular features.

Verizon Play More Unlimited

Verizon's Play More Unlimited plan offers many of the same features as Do More Unlimited at the exact same price. This plan features 15 GB of 4G LTE mobile hotspot, and 50 GB of high speed data. Play More Unlimited users are free to access Verizon's 5G networks whenever they're in range.

One unique aspect to Play More Unlimited is the fact that subscribers can call and text Canada and Mexico without fear of additional charges. All of these benefits, in conjunction with free Apple Music, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ accounts, makes this plan a competitive option for anyone in the market for unlimited data.

Verizon Start Unlimited

Verizon's Start Unlimited is the most basic unlimited data plan Verizon has to offer. While it may not have all the bells and whistles included in their more expensive packages, it's still a great value that only increases with the addition of more lines.

Start Unlimited includes unlimited access to Verizon's 4G LTE networks, a free Disney+ subscription and six months of Apple Music. While this plan doesn't come with mobile hotspot accessibility,  the price tag makes it too attractive to totally shy away from.

US Mobile

Similar to Verizon, US Mobile offers access to Apple Music, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ when you get a US Mobile unlimited plan with three lines. You'll get to choose one perk from that list, and if you get four lines, you can choose another.

In addition, when you register four lines on a US mobile unlimited plan, your perk options expand to include PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold.

Is Apple Music Available From Other Carriers?

Unfortunately, Apple Music isn't available from any other wireless carriers. However, there are some alternatives that you may want to consider, in case you aren't a fan of Verizon or US Mobile's service.

T-Mobile Simple Choice

If you have a T-Mobile Simple Choice plan, T-Mobile's Music Freedom perk allows you to stream unlimited content with Spotify, Pandora, and iHeartRadio.

While Music Freedom is an incredibly helpful feature, it's important to note that it doesn't come with a subscription to Spotify. It only allows you to stream Spotify music without affecting your monthly data limits.

Sadly, this plan is no longer available from T-Mobile. Unless you already have it, you won't be able to enjoy these perks.

Cricket Wireless More

Cricket Wireless's More unlimited plan offers a music streaming service similar to Apple Music called Deezer. Although you get access to a lot of different songs, it's important to know that Cricket Wireless only provides a free trial for Deezer. This is a bit disappointing because other carriers offer free subscriptions to streaming services, rather than temporary free trials.

Given the higher quality of Apple Music, you're probably better off paying for it separately or instead of Deezer. But, if you love music and saving money on unlimited data, Cricket Wireless and Deezer may be the way to go.
