Best Phones For Mint Mobile

Mint Mobile is one of the most unique cellular providers currently on the market. With reasonably priced and easily customizable options for coverage and payment, you can find a great deal with this carrier. In this article, I'm going to tell you about the best phones for Mint Mobile.

About Mint Mobile

Mint Mobile was founded in 2016 by fellow T-Mobile MVNO, Ultra Mobile. Since then, Ryan Reynolds has purchased partial ownership of the company. What sets them apart from other MVNO cellular providers is that Mint Mobile doesn't charge by the month. Instead, they distribute leases in increments of 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on the customer's preference.

As an MVNO, Mint Mobile gives customers access to T-Mobile's GSM networks. If you're considering bringing a phone to Mint Mobile when you switch, you might want to consider this factor before making any major decisions. If your previous carrier used a CDMA network, it could complicate the device transfer process.

Can I Bring My Phone To Mint Mobile?

If you'd prefer to bring your current phone when you switch, Mint Mobile does allow for that. The only conditions are that your phone is unlocked and fulfills their eligibility requirements. To check if your current phone is compatible with Mint Mobile's coverage, take a look at their Bring Your Own Phone page.

Some of our favorite phones from Mint Mobile are:

Mint Mobile has a wide array of device options and you can purchase from them directly when you sign up for their coverage. Many of the recent Android and iPhone models are currently available in their selection.

iPhone SE 2

One phone we cannot promote enough is the iPhone SE 2, currently available for purchase directly from Mint Mobile's store. The iPhone SE 2 has one of the smallest footprints of any cell phone on the market, with a display of 4.7 inches. Don't let its size fool you, this is one of the most powerful cell phones available for purchase, whether or not you're on a budget!

Starting at less than $400 for the 64 GB model, users will be able to enjoy the speed and efficiency of Apple's A13 processor and Retina HD display. Need more storage space? The SE 2 also comes in 128 and 256 GB variants, at a marginal price increase.

The iPhone SE 2 is certifiably water and dust resistant, and features built-in dual stereo speakers. Its camera is capable of shooting photos at 12 MP and 4K high definition video. For its price, you'd be hard pressed to find a more efficient and user friendly phone.

iPhone 11

If you're sure you want an iPhone and have the budget to invest in a wider range of functionality, we recommend the iPhone 11. Capable of shooting 12 MP photography from both the rear and front facing cameras, this iPhone features optical and digital zoom, as well as a Night Mode setting.

If you take a lot of photos or opt to use the 4K video capabilities, you'll be able to store a fair amount of footage directly on your iPhone, whether you choose the 64, 128, or 256 GB variant.

A slight improvement on the previous generation of iPhones, the iPhone 11 can withstand up to 26 hours of regular use on a single charge. If you rely on it heavily throughout the day, it's also capable of fast and wireless charging, if you purchase the necessary accessories.

Google Pixel 3a

Looking for a more affordable Android option? The Google Pixel 3a comes with a number of unique features at a price comparable to the iPhone SE 2. This phone's 5.6 inch display has a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and is designed to be exceptionally easy to look at over time.

The camera on the Pixel 3a shoots photography at 12.2 MP and video in 4K and 1080p. With 64 GB of storage available, you want to be mindful of how much HD video you keep saved on this device, as it can crowd the hard drive fairly quickly.

The Pixel 3a houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor. While not the most powerful processing chip on the market, its speed should provide any casual tech fan with an enjoyable user experience.

iPhone 12 Pro

One of Apple's newest releases, the iPhone 12 Pro, offers lots of upgrades to the previous line of iPhones. It's similar to the iPhone 12, but many of its features have a more premium quality to them. There are four new colors for you to choose from, and storage options range from 128 to 512 GB. The basic iPhone 12 Pro starts at around $1000, but that price can shift depending on your mobile carrier.

The iPhone 12 Pro supports fast and wireless charging. With a 6.1 inch Super Retina display, you can enjoy pictures and video with a new level of clarity. The body of this device is comprised of stainless steel with a matte finish. This durable frame, combined the ceramic shield glass display, earns this device its IP68 protection rating.

It seems that each new iPhone takes photo capabilities to the next level. The iPhone 12 Pro follows this trend with the triple-lens camera and enhanced photo stabilization. Some extra perks to the new generation of iPhones include all day battery life, the A14 processor, 5G network access, and stereo speakers.

Google Pixel 4a 5G

As one of the first Google phones with access to 5G networks, the Google Pixel 4a 5G offers a fresh take on the previous Pixel models. It also comes with new features to encourage users to upgrade or switch over. Coming in a single, 128 GB variant, this 5G smartphone starts at $499.

The Google Pixel 4a 5G records video in 4K and has the same camera lens as the Pixel 4a. The dual stereo speakers provide an optimal listening experience, regardless of your platform. Simply put, this new Google Pixel has all the same great features as previous versions, but now gives users access to 5G as well!

iPhone 12 Mini

The iPhone 12 Mini is just like the iPhone 12, only smaller! It's just as cutting edge, with all the same great features in a more compact size. This is a great option for Apple users that miss smaller iPhones. The Mini comes in five colors and can have storage ranging from 64 to 256 GB.

With a smaller phone comes a smaller price tag: the iPhone Mini starts at $700, but pricing  but this number varies between mobile carriers.

You may be wondering, how small is “mini”? This iPhone has a 5.4 inch, Super Retina display — the only significant spec change from the iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 Mini's camera is the same as its larger companion, with improved photo and video functions from the previous iPhone generation. Every device in the iPhone 12 line is compatible with 5G networks as well.

Some other great features of the iPhone 12 Mini include high quality Dolby Atmos speaker technology, all-day battery life, wireless charging, and water resistance up to 1 meter.
