Create A New Contact

There are 3 ways to create a new contact:

How To Create A New Contact In The Contacts App

1. Open the Contacts app.
2. Tap the blue + on the upper right hand corner of the screen.
3. Enter the name of the contact.
4. To add a phone number, email, or other contact information, tap the corresponding white plus inside a green circle.
5. When you’ve entered all the information for the contact, tap Done in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

How To Create A New Contact From The Phone App

1. Open the Phone app.
2. Use your finger to tap the Recents button, which looks like a clock.
3. Tap the circular blue “i”  next to the phone number you want to add as a contact.
4. Tap Create New Contact.
5. Enter the name of the contact.
6. Enter any other contact information by tapping the white plus in a green circle next to the information you want to add.
7. Tap Done in the upper right hand corner of the screen when you’ve entered all the information you want to add.

How To Create A New Contact From The Messages App

1. Open the Messages app.
2. Use your finger to tap on the conversation with the number you want to add as a contact.
3. Tap the circular blue “i”  in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
4. Once again, tap the number you want to add as a contact.
5. Tap Create New Contact.
6. Enter the name of the contact.
7. Enter any other contact information by tapping the white plus in a green circle next to the information you want to add.
8. Tap Done in the upper right hand corner of the screen when you’ve entered all the information you want to add.
