Uninstall An iOS Beta On Your iPhone

1 min read

The Apple Beta Software Program gives iPhone users early access to iOS, iPadOS, and other versions of Apple software. You get to be one of the first people to try out exciting new features, and Apple gets help developing their software before it’s released publicly.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Scroll down and tap Profiles.
  4. Tap on your iOS Beta Software Profile.
  5. Tap Remove Profile.
  6. Tap Remove.

Why this works:

iOS Betas are notoriously unreliable. They can cause a variety of software problems and drain your iPhone’s battery quickly. If an unstable Beta is causing issues on your iPhone, it’s sometimes best to remove the Profile.
