Your SIM card allows your phone to connect to a wireless network.
- Most Android phones have a SIM card slot on the top or the side of the device. To open it, you’ll need a paperclip or the thin removal tool that came with your phone.
- Carefully take the SIM card out of the removed slot. It’s very tiny, so make sure not to lose it.
- Place the SIM card back in the ejected slot.
- Reinsert the slot with the SIM card back into the phone until it is secured inside.
Why this works:
Reinserting your SIM card can help fix issues where you aren’t able to connect to the network.
Pro tip:
Make sure to eject your SIM card slot over a well lit flat surface like a table or a desk so that you don’t lose the SIM card. They are very tiny and can be easily lost!
