Our takeEditorialMetro's $60 plan earns its price with 25 GB hotspot and Amazon Prime thrown in -- SD-only video is the stubborn tradeoff at every Metro tier.
Metro's top unlimited at $60 taxes-in adds a 25 GB hotspot and Amazon Prime -- the only Metro tier where you actually get a hotspot.
Prices may vary by region, promotions, and account history. Check Metro by T-Mobile's website for current offers.
It adds a 25 GB mobile hotspot (the only Metro plan that includes one), pushes the high-speed data cap to 70 GB before speeds slow, and throws in Amazon Prime. Taxes and fees are still included. Video streaming is still locked to 480p (standard definition), which is the enduring friction point across the whole Metro lineup.
The Amazon Prime inclusion is legitimate value -- that's about $15/month on its own -- though it's worth noting it's a perk that requires keeping the plan active.
