Apple has created Apple ProRAW. Don't know what that is or why it's relevant? In this article, I'll tell you what Apple ProRAW is and why you might find it important.
Apple ProRAW, Explained
Apple ProRAW is a new photography feature available on the iPhone camera app. One of its major functions is that it doesn't compress photos, so you have greater control while editing! It also combines computational photography while giving you the freedom to edit. You can edit Apple ProRAW in photos and other editing apps.
Which iPhones Support Apple ProRAW?
The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro Max are the only two iPhones that support Apple ProRAW. You'll be able to enjoy all that it has to offer later this year!
What Else Was Announced At The October Apple Event?
Apple made numerous announcements at their October event. They not only released the all-new smooth/flat edge iPhone 12 design, but they also rolled out new features. The iPhone 12 has a “smart data mode,” which allows it to switch between 5G and LTE and vice versa. This saves so much battery! There's also a new CPU, which is the fastest of any smartphone.
The new dual-camera system keeps the ultra-wide camera and adds an additional one. Plus, Apple introduced a duo charger that simultaneously charges your iPhone and Apple watch. If you prefer a smaller iPhone, look no further. The iPhone 12 Mini can be yours for $699. You won't miss any features, it offers all that the iPhone 12 ($799) does.
Don't forget about the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. These iPhones come in silver, graphite, gold, and “pacific blue.” The 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max have astonishing 6.7-inch displays, the largest display yet! In addition, these iPhones include an ultra-wide camera, a new wide camera, and a telephoto camera used for portraits. Not only that, but Apple introduced HDR video recording. It's kind of a big deal.
The iPhone 12 Pro starts at 128GB ($999), while the iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at 128GB for $1099.
